Rob and Carrie are surprised with a new home by their parents. Apparently enjoyable at first, the first paranormal activity occurs with Carrie. Thinking it's her brother, she calls him out, but it suddenly stops when he enters her room, unbeknowst of what happened inside. Strange noises then occur around the house, but Rob refuses to believe that it is the work of ghosts. He comforts his sister that night when the power goes out due to a storm, and the next morning, they find a huge hole in their backyard seemingly made by the storm. After Carrie loses her ball, Rob decides to investigate and video tape the hole during the night. When Rob and Carrie watch the video they see a man with his family forcing them to eat together and later throws a grill at the camera. They see the car's lisence plate in the photo and find out the man's family died in a car crash. Rob and Carrie then show their mom but she doesn't believe them. All of a sudden a picture breaks with their father's face scratched out. The ghost of the house's former owner takes their mom and tries to drag her into the hole. Rob and Carrie save her but their dad gets sucked in instead. He later emerges and they all have lunch together. Their dad wears the same shirt as the man in the video. Rob and Carrie try to leave but their dad says they eat as a family, implying that the ghost possesed their father.
